We’re thrilled to be here and cannot wait to bring you delicious, healthy, and easy-to-make meals every month using our locally sourced, naturally smoked, and gluten free Blue Danube products.

 

A little bit about me…

My name is Victoria Jackson (formerly Balega) and I am a Hungarian-Canadian raised in Toronto. My dad, George, was one of the founders of Blue Danube Sausage House Ltd. back in 1994! He taught me so many things about meat, food, recipes and the retail industry. I took part in many tasks, such as stocking shelves and working the cash register from a very young age.

I am a mom to three beautiful children. 2 year old Jayce and 9 month old twins Mila & Jordan. I’m also a wife and a dog mom.

I studied Arts & Contemporary Studies with a Major in Culture & Entertainment at Ryerson University. I also worked as a bartender at several of Toronto’s finest establishments for 12 years. and worked for several Marketing agencies in Toronto

I run the Sales & Marketing division at Blue Danube and I also own & run Victoria’s Markets, which brings our delicious All-Natural products to Farmers’ Markets, Festivals, and Events.

Through my experiences in a Hungarian-Canadian upbringing and my experiences at Blue Danube, I have become passionate about sharing flavourful and healthy recipes using our homemade products that I am proud to serve my family.

I hope that you enjoy our recipes and tips and that I can bring a little extra flavour to your life! Like our company motto states, all of our recipes are “From our Family to Yours!”
